Founding Director & President

• Developed concept for nonprofit organization and obtained nonprofit status at state and federal levels.

• Raised 1.2 million dollars worth of "in-kind" donations of ad space from various media.

• Created publicity campaign for projects which resulted in extensive television, radio, newspaper and other media coverage.

• Built partnerships with more than 100 organizations in the local and national community for Building Bridges pilot projects.

• Developed and produced the following projects:  Building Bridges Concerts for Kids, Building Bridges Recognition Series, Building Bridges Homeless Car Wash, Contra Costa County Building Bridges of Peace Month.

• Wrote resolutions and proclamations that were passed by city councils and county Board's of Supervisors.

• §   Served on Central Contra Costa County Senior Coalition

• §    Served as Regional Coordinator for Central Contra Costa County's Violence Prevention Month

• Assisted planner for the Contra Costa Ad Hoc Task Force on Homelessness in preparing proposal for Contra Costa County Board of Supervisors.

• Developed Internet presence for Building Bridges and Website
