At Piano Finders, it is with great appreciation and respect that we rebuild pianos for our customers.   Since 1982, when Piano Finders started, we have rebuilt hundreds of pianos.    The piano brands that we rebuild the most are Steinway, C. Bechstein, Bosendorfer, Baldwin and Mason & Hamlin.  Other fine pianos that we have rebuilt include Wm. Knabe, Chickering, Conover, Webber, Wurlitzer, Yamaha, Kawai, and numerous other brands.   There have been over 11,000 brand names of pianos made in the last 100 years.  Hundreds of those brands, made before 1940, were of exceedingly high quality and often we have had the joy of seeing very fine manufacturing workmanship and design in a piano that is no longer made today.   We have rebuilt pianos that dated as early as 1850 and as recent as 1976.   We have boxes of photographs of these pianos (before the digital camera).  Perhaps one day, we will go through and scan some of these photos and add them to this section.  For now, I have included in this section just a few of the pianos we have rebuilt.
