Piano Description:
1993 Baldwin, Hamilton Model 243HP Walnut Finish Studio Piano. 45" tall. Serial No. 447528. Insides and outsides are in excellent condition, very little wear, parts look like new.
Baldwins and Steinways are the two top concert pianos still made in the United States today. This piano has been appraised at between $2,500 and $3,000 because of its excellent condition.
The nearest new equivalent would be a new Baldwin studio 243 which retails between $$6,400 to $10,500

Piano's Personal History:
This 1990 Wurlitzer 5' Grand piano is a really nice, well-constructed little grand, built in 1990 by Baldwin, for their Wurlitzer piano division. -Small enough to fit in a corner, yet with a big enough sound to fill the house, if need be. It is a great little piano for the money. Piano Finders sold this piano new to the original owner in 1991 and she recently donated it to a non-profit organization to benefit the community. It is for sale by the non-profit organization and the proceeds will go to benefit the non-profit's projects and programs for the arts.

Piano's Personal History:
1970 Louis XV Antique White with Gold Trim Baldwin 5 '8 " Grand. Serial No. 190328
This piano was purchased by owner's mother. Owner is going to be moving to a smaller place and unfortunately cannot take the piano with them. It origianlly was owned by a Music Professor at Cal State Hayward.
It is in beautiful condition. The white finish with gold trim is a professional factory finish. The piano sounds great and has a big full bass, singing midrange and clear bell-like treble. This piano has the recommended maintenance work performed including: tuning, voicing, regulation, hammer filing and cleaning.
Baldwins and Steinways are the two top concert pianos still made in the United States today. The Louis XV cabinet style is very popular, but few are still made. It is rare today.
The nearest new equivalent would be a new Baldwin 227 which retails between $44,000 to 71,000.
